With the start of the new school year, Ayla Oasis Development Company launched its annual \u201cBack to School\u201d campaign, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education in Aqaba Governorate, local charities and Al Joud Association.
\nAs part of this year\u2019s campaign, Ayla covered the tuition for a number of secondary and primary school students who are unable to cover their fees in Aqaba. In cooperation with “Maqadna\u201d, Al Joud Association\u2019s initiative, 450 seats were maintained in a number of schools. Scientific equipment at “That Al Sawary” and “Zain Al Sharaf” schools were also maintained to guarantee a healthy and sustainable environment in these schools in preparation for the academic year.
\nThe \u201cBack to School\u201d campaign has been ongoing since Ayla’s entry into the Jordanian market in 2002, with the company working to implement annual campaigns supporting the education sector due to its belief in the importance of this sectors advancement in bringing about comprehensive sustainable development in the country.
\nAyla\u2019s Managing Director, Eng. Sahl Dudin said, \u201cWe are very happy with the launch of this campaign and the return of our students to their schools to complete their education, whether primary or secondary, while overcoming any challenges that may stand in their way. At Ayla, we believe in the value of education and the importance of raising a conscious, educated, and active generation capable of bringing about positive social change.”
\nDudin explained that in keeping with the company\u2019s philosophy and corporate vision, Ayla\u2019s annual launch of this campaign reflects its serious and relentless efforts to fulfill its socially responsible role towards various sectors of society, including school students and the educational sector. Ayla strives to create an ideal, safe, and healthy environment in the public schools of Aqaba Governorate.
\nThe Director of the Education Directorate, Dr. Sumaya Al-Burdini, expressed her appreciation on behalf of the Ministry of Education for Ayla\u2019s support for the educational sector since its establishment, noting that this support helped to make it possible for many students to continue their schooling, whether primary or secondary, in an ideal educational setting. Al-Burdini urged all companies and national institutions to follow in Ayla\u2019s support for the education sector, which is considered the cornerstone of comprehensive and sustainable development.<\/p>\n
