Ayla Organizes First “Foot Golf” Tournament during the FIFA World Cup

Ayla hosted a one of a kind ‘Foot Golf’ tournament at the golf club with the participation of 79 players of varying age groups. The organization of the event came during the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar, drawing interests on a global scale from soccer lovers, especially in Jordan. The tournament caters to those who withhold a strong passion for both soccer and golf.
‘Foot Golf’, a sport that merges soccer and golf together is played on a golf course and requires focus, precision, and skill. The purpose of the game is to shoot the ball to the ‘cup’ or the ‘goal’ with the least attempts of shots. Upon shooting the ball across the distances of the green course, points are calculated based upon the success rate of the ball being shot into the cup.
During Ayla’s ‘Foot Golf’ tournament, participants unveiled advanced skills and stated that they would continue to play in the future. Ayla’s golf academy hopes to expand ‘Foot Golf’ related activities, especially for golf players who haven’t had the opportunity to try this unique sport.
